| Nom latin : Nepeta Cataria L. (Lamiaceae) (ordre: Lamiales) | | Synonymes : Lemon catnip. Herbe à chat. Menthe à chat. | | Description : Vivace aromatique et médicinale, qui peut atteindre une hauteur de 50 cm. Nommée aussi "herbe à chat" pour l'attrait qu'elle exerce sur cet animal.
Floraison en épis de fleurs blanches ponctuées de pourpre, de juin à août.
Culture facile en situation ensoleillée ou à mi-ombre, en terre sèche et légère. Multiplication par semis ou bouturage
Utilisée en infusion ou comme aromatique. |
