| Synonymes : tomate en arbre. Tamarillo. | | Description : Vivace herbacée. Hauteur:3m. Emplacement:Ensoleillé ou partiellement ombragé. Multiplication:semis, temps de germination très long et démarrage lent. Boutures faciles. Entretien:plutôt à mi ombre à protéger en hiver, peut repartir après une gelée légère. Les fruits murissant de décembre à janvier; en dehors de la zone de l'oranger, cette plante doit être rentrée en serre ou véranda hors-gel pour espérer une récolte. |

- Sur l ile de la Réunion c est une espèce très répandu surtout dans les hauts de l ile , on l appelle "tomate arbuste" il faut de 18 a 24 mois avant d avoir des fruits PETER974 13/11/2010
